Ready to have some fun and make your own beautiful soap? Our Melt & Pour Soap Making Class is a hands-on, creative experience where you get to be the soap maker! You’ll start with a ready-to-use soap base, then let your creativity take over. Pick your favorite colors, fragrances, molds, and fun additions, melt it, mix it, pour it—and voilà! You’ve created your very own handmade soap.
🫧 So, How Is Melt & Pour Different from Cold Process?
At Debbie’s Handmade Soap, I love cold process soap making, but melt & pour is a little different—and that’s what makes it so much fun! With cold process soap, you measure oils and carefully work with lye to create soap through a chemical reaction called saponification. Cold process soap also needs time to cure before it is ready to use.
