This brush soap is magnificent! It thoroughly cleans and softens your brushes making them like new. 
Just thoroughly wet the brush and swish it on the soap creating tons of lather. Rinse and repeat until brush is clean.
I usually do this at night and let mine dry over night. My thick foundation brush takes at least 24 hours to dry. 
 I rinse my soap and let it dry overnight also before capping it.
