Debbie's Handmade Soap is a family owned business. We are located in Historic Farmland Indiana. We make all of our soap in small batches to ensure the quality of each batch. We hand stir, hand cut and hand wrap every bar. We even make our own wrapper! Every bar is given a long cure period so that when it reaches you it is mild and ready to use. We also offer Bath Salt, Lotions, and Lindsay's Lipworks Lip Balm, made from fine ingredients by Debbie's daughter. Her husband Mark and son Clay also get in on the action by wrapping and helping cut the bars! We hope you enjoy browsing the site, and God Bless!

A word from Debbie--

My soap is made with lots of Olive Oil! It is great for sensitive or allergy prone skin. Since it leaves your dry skin so soft, it is the perfect soap to use on those tough to tend places, such as the knees and elbows. You'll be happy to find such a great product as this for you and your family!

So what ingredients go into our soaps?

	Olive oil puts our soap in a class by itself
	Coconut Oil makes a luxurious lather and a hard bar
	Palm oil makes the bar of soap long-lasting
	Sodium Hydroxide (lye) and distilled water give the soap balance
	We have 25 fragrance oils, sure to please everyone!

Sodium Hydroxide (lye) is an alkaline and the oils used in the soap are an acid . The harshness of these two are totally cancelled out, making a bar of soap so mild that it can be used on the whole body. The longer the bar of soap is unused, the harder and longer lasting it gets and will hold its fragrance for more than a year!
